Cosmetic Injectables Available at the LASSI
Dermal fillers and wrinkle relaxing injectables provide patients with long-term, temporary facial rejuvenation without the need for facial plastic surgery. Botulinum toxin cosmetic injectables smooth out fine lines and wrinkles while dermal fillers restore lost facial volume or give fullness to areas of the face like the lips and cheeks. The result is a more youthful, symmetrical appearance that lasts for several months and up to two years, depending upon the injectables used.
Belotero Balance®
Belotero Balance is a monophase double cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) which is very soft and pliable. It is used to treat nasolabial folds and marionette lines, which run from the corners of the nose to the corners of the mouth and down to the chin. Belotero is also suitable for vertical lip lines in some patients.
BOTOX® Cosmetic
Botox Cosmetic is the most commonly performed aesthetic procedure worldwide and in our practice. Botox relaxes facial muscles thereby reducing the tension on the skin that occurs with aging. It is the most requested of all of our cosmetic injectables at the LASSI.
Dysport®
Dysport was the second Botulinum toxin approved for use in the United States. A popular Botox alternative, Dysport provides patients with different options in wrinkle relaxation.
Jeuveau®
Evolus Jeuveau is a new Botox alternative wrinkle relaxer. Commonly referred to as #NEWTOX, Jeuveau is FDA-approved to reduce the appearance of frown lines.
Juvederm® Ultra & Juvederm Ultra Plus
Juvederm Ultra and Ultra Plus smooth out nasolabial folds and marionette lines that run from the nose to the corners of the mouth and down to the chin. However, the fillers have multiple applications useful for different patients.
Juvederm® Volbella
Juvederm Volbella is a newly FDA approved lip filler treatment that has been successfully used in Europe and Canada. Now available in the United States, this lip enhancement filler is another excellent addition to the Juvederm line of fillers by Allergan, the makers of Botox.
Juvederm® Vollure
Juvederm Vollure is an injectable dermal filler from the Juvederm family of fillers featuring a smooth hyaluronic acid gel designed to fill and smooth deep nasolabial folds and marionette lines, also called smile lines.
Juvederm® Voluma
Juvederm Voluma is a highly-crosslinked hyaluronic acid that is designed to replace age-related volume loss, thereby adding youthful volume to the face. Voluma was designed as a cheek enhancement filler that also provides a subtle lower facelift by gently lifting the jowls. Voluma lasts up to 2 years and provides patients with instantly noticeable results.
Radiesse®
Radiesse is a safe, long-lasting volumizing filler. It is composed of calcium hydroxylapatite beads suspended in carboxymethylcellulose gel. The small calcium microspheres form a scaffolding which supports and stimulates the growth of the patient’s natural collagen. The microspheres break down over time and are naturally eliminated by the body.
Restylane-L®
Restylane is a bioengineered hyaluronic acid gel that is produced by Streptococcus, crosslinked with BDDE, a stabilized and suspended in phosphate-buffered saline. Restylane binds water in tissue, thereby adding volume and fullness and diminishing facial lines and folds.
Restylane® Defyne
Restylane Defyne is formulated to contour and volumize facial wrinkles and folds for up to one year and features Galderma’s proprietary XpresHAn Technology. It is used in nasolabial folds and marionette lines to smooth out smile lines that deepen as we age.
Restylane Kysse
Restylane Kysse offers natural-looking, flexible lip filler results, providing fullness, symmetry, and contouring to the lips lasting up to one year.
Restylane® Lyft
Restylane Lyft (formerly known as Perlane) is similar to the Restylane filler except that the HA (hyaluronic acid) particle size is smaller, thereby making it a formal implant. This makes Restylane Lyft ideal for deep folds and deeper places of injection. Lyft is also popular for cheek enhancement.
Restylane® Refyne
Restylane Refyne is a hyaluronic acid filler formulated to smooth lines and wrinkles around the mouth and nose and uses Galderma’s proprietary XpresHAn Technology. Like Defyne, Refyne is used in the nasolabial folds and marionette lines.
